The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible to ensure QTS’s product offerings are Quotable, Supportable and Billable. This individual will be the point person across the organization on product development, integration into BSS/OSS and processes required to support products. The scope is for new product launches and on-going lifecycle of products.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

  • Working with internal teams and vendors to ensure products meets operational readiness requirements.

  • Interfacing with other teams on product designs, functionality and proof of concepts.

  • Developing and documenting the product requirements for each product development effort

  • Working with project team with development Standard Operating Procedures, training materials and other required documentation.

  • Providing training and demonstration to internal teams as required

  • Ensure all products are integrated into QTS BSS/OSS systems.

  • Work with project team to ensure alignment on projects scope, timing and requirements to meet deadlines for a successful product.

  • Staying up to date on market trends and the needs of our customers to inform product strategy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience

  • Five or more years of experience working in Product Development or Management

  • Three or more years of experience working in the data center/colocation space

  • US Citizenship is required by law for this position due to federal customer contracts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or related Master’s degree

  • Five or more years of experience working in the data center/colocation space

  • Engineering or Technology experience in combination with either Sales, Marketing or Sales Engineering experience

  • Entrepreneurial/start-up experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (Communication, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation, etc.) when dealing with internal and/or external audiences at all levels of management

  • Strong analytical skills
