Salary:                $172,683/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

Duties:

Design core, backend software components. Code using primarily C/C++, Java, PHP and Hack. Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa. Conduct design and code reviews. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources. Complete medium to large features, each with many tasks, independently without guidance. Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product areas, and systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (foreign degree equivalent accepted) and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Experience must include 24 months involving each of the following: 1. Java; 2. Relational databases and SQL; 3. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce); 4. Linux or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation and simple commands; 5. Core web technologies such as HTML; 6. Building highly-scalable performant solutions; and 7. Distributed systems.
