Description

Our trusted client is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for a long-term engagement. This hybrid role will report directly to the CFO and is located in Birmingham Michigan.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Provide decision support data to executives for informed decision-making.

• Manage the financial performance of various programs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Generate and analyze monthly P& L packages for each program.

• Utilize Net suite ERP / Power BI and Salesforce for data management and analysis.

• Prepare board reporting materials, including flash reports and preliminary P& L.

• Handle ad-hoc reporting requests from executives.

• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities using PBCS.

• Consolidate financial data across multiple entities for entity reporting.

• Analyze and provide feedback on financial results.

• Ensure all financial reports are entirely accurate and timely.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

• Familiarity with data mining techniques to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

• Comprehensive understanding of finance principles and practices, financial markets, and banking.

• Experience with CapEx (Capital Expenditure) planning and forecasting.

• Knowledge of consolidations in a financial context, including the process of combining financial data from several departments or business entities within an organization.

• Ability to analyze EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) to evaluate a company's operational performance.

• Comfortable working as part of a senior team, providing financial insights and strategic recommendations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a similar role, such as a financial analyst or senior financial analyst.
