Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in the City of Industry, California. This role primarily involves account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management. Responsibilities:

• Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. • Reconciling balance sheets and delivering summary reconciliation reports to the Accounting Manager. • Performing bank reconciliations regularly to report discrepancies or issues. • Maintaining and managing general ledger accounting functions. • Creating journal entries and assembling supporting documentation. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. • Managing the month-end close process. • Utilizing Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics for managing financial data. • Implementing Microsoft Great Plains Accounting for maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Extensive experience in managing general ledger

• Ability to prepare and record journal entries accurately

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Capable of executing month end close procedures effectively

• Familiarity with Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics and Microsoft Great Plains Accounting

• Prior experience in a senior accounting role within the manufacturing industry

• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• detail oriented certification such as CPA is preferred

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
