Facility:Work From Home - OhioDepartment:Patient Access - ManagementSchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:Provide day-to-day supervision of the pre service department including central scheduling, pre registration and prior authorization functions. Develop methods and processes that aid process improvement and efficiencies resulting in financial clearance, accurate scheduling and registration, denial prevention overall reducing bad debt for Dayton Children's. Understand, optimize, and strategize processes and work flows to include insurance verification, pre service estimates and collections, and an optimal patient experience. Effectively communicate with all departments and clinics at Dayton Children's to standardize all across the organization. Responsible for maintaining and promoting good customer relations with community practitioners' offices, hospital subspecialists and other key stakeholders. Ensure analyzation and dissemination of scheduling and registration metrics, processes and expectations throughout the entire organization. Responsible for implementation and evaluation of plans to ensure quality customer service, budgetary compliance and comprehensive staff management for all three departments. Possess authority, responsibility and accountability for daily planning, organizing and directing of all aspects of the access revenue cycle within the department.
