TTU K-12 Regional Coordinator- Irving, TX - part-time

Position Description:

Represent Texas Tech University K-12 to prospective schools and community partners to promote supplemental student program, professional development opportunities for ISDs, and plan academic programs and events at regional sites. Plan assigned recruiting events and programs. Counsel prospective school staff and students on supplemental courses, Credit by Exams, AP and dual-credit courses, and other program offerings.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Design and implement recruitment strategies for school visitations, on-site programs, community outreach events, educator workshops, and student services.

  • Develop a plan for scheduling and reporting recruitment visits and activities.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of initiatives and report to district leadership.

  • Coordinate with marketing team and other departments on recruitment materials, web designs, advertising events, and promotional items.

  • Collaborate with other departments to promote the different academic programs.

  • Assist with other TTU K-12 and Tech Online events as needed and available.

  • Able to work flexible schedule, as work hours may include evenings and weekends.
