Providence Special Events Coordinator - Foundation in Mission Viejo, California

Description

Reporting to the ministry Director, Philanthropy, the Donor Relations/Events Coordinator (DR/EC) will provide direct administrative support to the ministry Foundation's Philanthropic Gift Advisors. This person will be detail-oriented in upholding open lines of communication with donors, prospects and grateful patients, and handle all facets of gift processing while maintaining a donor database containing essential information and key foundation contacts. The DR/EC will also be responsible for providing support in the planning, coordination and implementation of committee meetings and special events. This position will interact with a wide variety of internal and external constituents and will require a high degree of professionalism along with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience

  • 4 years of working in a fast paced environment.

  • 5 years of Successful administrative track record

  • Demonstrated experience working within time-intensive, results-oriented environment preferably a hospital, academic or nonprofit research organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Campaign experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
