Google Music Content Partnerships Manager (English, Hindi) in Mumbai, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.

  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

  • Business development experience.

  • Ability to speak and write in English and Hindi fluently for interactions in English and Hindi with local stakeholders and partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of entertainment industry experience including movies or music.

  • Understanding of technological concepts, financial models, and music copyrights.

  • Ability to interface with partners, solve critical problems through analysis, thrive in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment.

  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally, think strategically about complex issues, and convert insights into straightforward, timely actions.

  • Demonstrated record of initiating and successfully driving new business opportunities in the media and/or digital space.

Lead managing music partner engagement and relationship by tracking business metrics, building partner strategies, collaborating on product strategy with partners, and ensuring brand/reputation management. Lead strategic relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders/teams to resolve partner issues, drive the best partner experience, and ensure product excellence.

  • Manage and optimize existing music partnerships to maximize business growth and user experience.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners. Manage day-to-day partnership activities with a focus on existing performance growth, and advocate internally on behalf of partners.

  • Prioritize business line development through analysis and deep understanding of YouTube's product roadmap.

  • Define, model, execute against, and analyze key distribution performance metrics and recommend channel improvements to partners.

  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
