Role: Oracle Service Delivery Manager and Functional Lead

Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to improve the quality and efficiency of our service delivery operations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading and improving service delivery teams and possess excellent problem solving and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all services are delivered according to specific standards and expectations.
  • Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures and checklists for service delivery.
  • Recommending service improvements.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and addressing performance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Understand the business needs, priorities, and opportunities.
  • Improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify customer service improvements and opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain a positive customer impression and relationship.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring customer service issues.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance for on-site and off-site employees.
  • The successful candidate should be able to participate and present in the Status calls
  • Lead onsite and offshore teams on high level solutions.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for development and object migration.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols.
  • Leading project teams, Overseeing projects and Resolving issues, where applicable.
  • Monitoring progress, Tracking KPIs and service metrics, and coordinating service delivery.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Maintaining client relationships.
  • Understanding business needs, priorities, and opportunities, Improving service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Performing technical tasks, such as troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Service delivery managers will be required to work with individuals offshore and onsite/onshore locations. They act as a point of contact for escalation management.
  • Create Change Control requests containing well written instructions for code migration.
  • Perform Procurement, iProcurement, Sourcing, iSupplier, and Supplier Lifecycle Management application testing as required.
  • Administer and monitor Workflow processes; resolve issues.
  • Address Job Stream warnings/failures, when necessary.
  • Monitor and support a key subset of PO interfaces & loads.
  • Support Audit Requests as Necessary.
  • Document and maintain SOPs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with the following EBS Modules: Procure to pay, Sourcing, Purchasing, iSupplier Portal.
  • Well Versed in these Technologies: PL/SQL, Shell Scripts, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Oracle Business Intelligence.

* Web Based technologies- Java, Oracle Application Framework (OAF).

* Business and Process flows.

Integration architecture.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $125,700/Year to $153,200/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
