Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Business Systems Analyst II - Workforce Technology in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

BASIC PURPOSE : Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is looking for a Business Systems Analyst II to join our Workforce Technology Solutions team. This individual will work with our internal business customers to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements to provide effective and resourceful cloud-based solutions. They will also provide support of those solutions for our internal business customers. The ideal candidate would have experience with both Agile project management methodology and with functioning as a business systems analyst.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Function as Business Systems Analysts supporting Love’s Internal Communications solutions

  • Learn the technologies, strategies, and analytic techniques we use here at Love’s

  • Take part in product demos and presentation to the business

  • Analyze and improve on internal processes, data, and problems

  • Develop innovative solutions for real business challenges

  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects

  • Interact with business groups to provide product and process support

  • Map internal processes and improve how people work together

  • Help improve team analytics around projects, support and team performance

  • Participate in quality reviews and assist in ongoing documentation and user training

  • Other duties assigned as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business in computer science, MIS or Business or equivalent experience and/or certification

  • Business Analysts Certification (CBAP) preferred

  • Experience:

  • 1 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience

  • 2+ years’ experience with other Web and SaaS technologies (e.g., .Net business applications, out-of-the-box form/workflow solution, reporting tools, employee engagement solutions).

SKILLS:

  • Required Skills:

  • Experience with business and technical requirements elicitation, analysis, communication, verification, validation and methodology development

  • Understanding of development processes and life cycles preferred (Waterfall and SCRUM/Agile)

  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, facilitate and lead a project or initiative

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer knowledge

  • Experience working in a customer support capacity

  • Self-motivated, team player with the ability work with others in a high-energy, fact paced environment

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Good organizational skills, including prioritization and time management

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, Planner, OneDrive and SharePoint) and/or willingness to learn is a plus

  • Strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills

  • Interest in learning and using emerging technologies (Web, Mobile, cloud computing and digital workplace)

  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
