First level sales management directly managing Account Managers, Channel Managers. Attains results within Zebra management policies and practices. Personal objectives typically defined as a "roll-up" of all sales resources reporting to the Sales Manager. Generally considered an excellent coach, helping others attain sales success. Understands own product portfolio extremely well and knows how to win relative to competition; teaches others same. As with all management, embodies One Zebra ahead of personal achievements.

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for scaled revenue generation and sales growth strategy, setting the strategy and operating model for inside sales in alignment with sales leadership. This position requires a leader that has the right skills and background to tackle short- and long-term growth and will have accountability for monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

This is an ideal position for a passionate professional and expert in Inside Sales with high EQ who will build this organization into a scalable and consistent model, engaging sales leaders to achieve an aligned go-to-market for maximum coverage, growth and return.

Talent who can lead business planning, including participation in quota setting and defining sales and channel strategy; anticipates key account and customer needs and works to define innovative solutions; develops strong relationships with corporate-level executives and industry influencers; leads creation of innovative marketing, service and supply chain approaches for others to utilize.

Responsibilities:

  • L ead Zebra Inside Sales organization from the ground up along with developing and executing an organizational strategy that effectively covers customer segments aligned to the go-to-market design.

  • Continuously define and refine the key sales processes that can be consistently operationalized and create a clear execution plan that allows the company to exceed business targets and scale.

  • Collaborate with other sales leaders to develop a comprehensive sales coverage approach that provides the right levels of support to our customers and prospects.

  • Participate in territory planning, account segmentation and allocation to maximize sales resources

  • Build relationships with internal sales team and customer partnerships.

  • Drive and inspect operational processes and compliance with key sales tools to document the sales process, the forecast, lead dispositioning, activities with strong data integrity.

  • Collaborates with the Sales Enablement team to develop a plan to on board new inside talent and continuously refresh the Inside Sales on solutions, industry knowledge, technical skills and sales skills.

  • Accountable to overall performance management and employee development for Inside Sales.

  • Provide hands-on leadership for the day-to-day operations of Inside Sales to execute the charter, achieve key performance indicators while maintaining alignment on the company’s longer-term strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) common

  • 8+ years of applicable work experience

  • Helps develop Zebra technical solutions; expert in some areas

  • Leads teams in development of advanced solution selling concepts and partnership creation; proven sales success only

  • Full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; strong ability to energize and lead others
