Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Heart & Vascular Specialists Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled LVN Work location: 6300 W. Parker Road, Suite 322, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Travel: 50% to surrounding clinics as needed ( mileage reimbursement provided ) Heart & Vascular Specialists Department Highlights:

Here’s What You Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse (required)

  • Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)

  • Cardiac experience (strongly preferred)

  • 2 years of recent Medical Clinic experience (strongly preferred)

  • ACLS or BCLS (required)

What You Will Do

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the LVN Process

  • Assists physician performing specific nursing care as it relates to cardiology

  • Educates patient and family about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions

  • Communicates with external and internal customers, i.e., physician office, hospitals, imaging centers, etc.

  • Updates patient charts, provides medication reconciliation, and refills prescriptions

  • Performs other duties as assigned
