As a Partner Development Representative, you will have the exciting opportunity to enable and grow our community of Amazon Partner Network (APN) Partners. These partners consist of some of the most innovative and trusted Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers and Consultants.

A primary responsibility of this role will be to programmatically manage a large number of Consulting partners. The ability to identify, prioritize and enable these partners at scale, is essential. The right individual will focus on enabling partners through the APN journey, leveraging programs, funding, and technical resources. They will also work to ensure each partner chooses AWS as the preferred platform for their customers.

You should have a demonstrated ability to move quickly, think strategically, and communicate clearly. Success criteria for this position will be the ability to enable a large numbers of partners across a given geography, and building a healthy co-selling channel.

Key job responsibilities

•Onboard and programmatically support Consulting Partners including Start-ups, Systems Integrators, Business Consulting, and Managed Services Providers that are moving to the cloud.

•Effectively manage and measure a partner enablement and go-to-market requests.

•Identify, enable and qualify high potential partners that drive revenue and deliver best-in-class solutions to AWS customers.

•Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. service teams, sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.) to further develop partner strategies and processes.

•Utilize CRM systems and other analytic tools to establish and report detailed metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Salesforce.com experience including the development of dashboards and reports, programming experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 2+ years of partner alliances and/or technical sales experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
