Key job responsibilities

Privacy and trust are of utmost priority to deliver customer-obsessed and privacy sensitive data. We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to implement privacy and data security compliance obligations and drive large, cross functional implementation initiatives for OPTIMA Operations. This role will partner with Data security, Privacy and Operations leaders to implement processes and tools to raise the bar of Privacy in our Operations. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high complexity and ambiguity. Key Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited include:

• Identifying opportunities to align Operational processes and tooling compliance to global privacy-related regulations, policies, and customer promises by running periodic Audits and other Industry best practices such as FMEA

• Partnering with Privacy, Security and legal partner teams to implement emerging privacy-related regulatory, market or other compliance needs

• Creating clear guidance for Operations leaders and managers to understand applicable privacy controls and steps to manage compliance

• Scope, plan, implement, and deliver privacy/security related Ops Programs in alignment with Organizational with goals

• Establish metrics and regular reporting mechanisms for measuring results, progress and gaps in performance and compliance.

• Communicate plans, status, and critical issues clearly and effectively

• Conduct deep dive privacy and regulatory compliance assessments

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 3+ years of working in data security, privacy and other compliance related functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing compliance to privacy-focused regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
