Center for Human Development Program Director in Springfield, Massachusetts

Program Director Description The Program Director provides clinical and administrative leadership, direction, and oversight to a large Adult Community Clinical Services program serving 477 Persons referred by the Department of Mental Health within integrated clinical teams, group living environments, and supported housing settings. The Director also oversees a Psychiatric Day Treatment Program serving Persons with substantial functional limitations. The Director is responsible for hiring, supervision and training of staff, budget development and monitoring, contract compliance, clinical performance and outcomes, and developing and supporting relationships with regional and state funding sources and subcontractor agencies. The Director directly supervises up to eight management and clinical staff and indirectly supervises over 100 staff and manages a budget of \$16 million. Requirements Master\'s Degree and five years supervisory experience in a behavioral health, medical, and/or clinical setting; clinical license is strongly preferred; demonstrated experience in managing complex budgets, personnel issues, and service delivery needs of Persons served in similar programs and models; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and commitment and enthusiasm for the mission and values of the agency.
