MUST BE ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEK

A top IT consulting firm is looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support the state of Florida on an enterprise software development project. The main responsibilities of the BA will be to monitor and evaluate software development and system modernization to translate business requirements into technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical business analyst experience within an IT/software environment, have an understanding of JADs, and be able to research, understand and translate into technical requirements for the software team. Technologies that may be used are as follows:

o .net

o SQL

o Oracle

o Cobol OR IBM Mainframe

o C++, C#

o Visual Basic

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration

* 5+ years of experience as a technical business analyst within an IT software environment

o Experience authoring BRDs (business requirement documentation) and turning them into technical requirements

* Understanding of JADS (joint application development) * Database programming

* Jira

* Previous experience supporting a government agency null
