Job Description FSB Training Advisor 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987 HEADQ Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as Full-time FSB Training Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the development of Fastenal employees through our corporate university, the Fastenal School of Business (FSB), by performing recruitment, registration, and coordination of travel logistics for course sessions. The Fastenal School of Business (FSB) is the internal Learning and Development division of the Fastenal Company. Since 1999 we have developed the industry's most innovative thinkers and leaders. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Advising employees regarding Fastenal School of Business training programs o Recruiting employees to attend training sessions o Managing course session registration and training records o Arranging and communicating travel information for employees attending training sessions o Providing excellent customer service o Collaborating with instructors and the e-learning team to meet the needs of our employee base REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed o Have administrative or customer service work experience OR possess or are working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Administrative Assistant, Tourism/Recreation or a related field of study o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn functions of the learning management system and WebEx o Highly motivated, self directed, and customer service oriented o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
