Job Summary: The Personal Care Assistant at Always Best Care Senior Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico is a part-time, hourly position in the Franchise industry. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to senior clients in their homes. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $16 per hour, with biweekly pay. Responsibilities - Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders. - Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. - Prepare meals and assist with feeding, if needed. - Complete light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and dishes. - Accompany clients to appointments and outings. - Communicate effectively with clients, families, and coworkers. - Document services provided and any changes or concerns in the client's condition. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to pass a background check - Compassionate and patient demeanor. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic knowledge of personal care and hygiene. - Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
