Position Summary

The Transition / Technology Director is a strategic position that will have direct ownership and oversight of a Technology / Transition TEAM (4-Dedicated FTE’s) that will be deployed across all IG’s as well will be an influencer on technology builds through the new business development solutioning process and will have full responsible for ensuring an overall compliant guidance/expectations and ongoing industry standards as they evolve respectively and have oversight to the Transition Compliance and Deliverables across all identified APS ACCOUNTS (Across all IG’s). This position is also responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of continuous process technology improvement actions/activities within the APS Platform IG’s to include all new APS Accounts as well as technology utilization in existing APS Platform accounts. The position requires considerable initiative, judgment, and a relevant skill set to identify and develop necessary improvements to be implemented and to make recommendations for corrective actions as necessary, this position works very closely with both the IG management & leadership TEAM’s.

Essential Duties:

  • Will be responsible for managing and contractual oversight of all new APS account transitions / Technology and implementations of new Technology into existing accounts across all APS IG’S

  • Coordinate people and processes to ensure the timely completion of client onboarding.

  • Develops, builds, and oversees the multiple facilities/project reporting capabilities and centralization storage of data to verify weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance metrics for reporting related to KPI management and ensures full Utilization on maximum capabilities of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and overseeing the continuous improvement efforts tied to asset management processes and procedures.

  • Performs data analysis on parts usage, monitors equipment failures and maintenance quality audits, and recommends, initiates, and manages improvement projects on all implemented CMMS & Technologies Systems. (Corrigo, Maximo, Plant Log, etc.)

  • Provides guidance and oversight training to all CMMS deployments and Facilities Management staff on building systems and analytical tools.

  • Ensures the reliability of reports in all deployed CMMS systems are accurate and generated to include equipment data (specifications, maintenance, repair records, repair costs, installation dates, and warranty information and other reports for field equipment.

  • Evaluates the Technology Implementation process for overall compliance relative to Service level agreements & associated KPI compliance and deliverables.

  • Support the development of quality goals and targets as part of the organization’s strategic plan.

  • Continuously review quality processes, procedures, and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost- effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements and make recommendations for improvement as appropriate.

  • Ensure all physical resources are maintained, stored, and organized to allow efficient and effective operation.

  • Manage and control all quality control activities in accordance with identified quality assurance standards, company procedures, customer specifications and contract requirements.

  • Lead or contribute to proposal development, including technical approach, staffing, and partnering strategies and negotiations, and decisions on information gathering trips, and oversee cost development of CMMS Systems and Technology implementation.

  • Support project start-ups and closeouts as needed, including regularly traveling to the field to support project initiatives and backfill project leadership, as necessary.

  • Manage and support a TEAM of Transition / Technology Team-Members.

  • Will have APS Platform responsibilities of existing Technology stack deployment and utilization.

  • Will oversee and manage the development of all CMMS / BAS Reporting structures.

  • Will have oversight and ownership of all new deployment of Technology into the APS Platform.

  • Will have direct ownership of all Technology based pilots that are targeted and implemented.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience.

  • 8-10+ years of Facility related operations / transitions and or project management experience.

  • LEED, BOMA, IFMA, Stationary Engineer, Gen Contractors Designation / License Preferred

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills.

  • Working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, general building maintenance, building construction and crafts, a demonstrated aptitude is required.

  • Demonstrated expertise in verbal and written communications.

  • Demonstrated willingness to work non-standard days and hours as required.

  • Proven leadership, management, analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

  • Travel expectations 40 – 50 %

  • Experience with technology tools such as Corrigo, Maximo, School Dude, Brightly, Plant Log, Chiller Check, I-Alert, Clockworks, etc.

  • Superior time Management skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills.
