Job Summary:

As a part of the Supplier Material Verification Team, this position is responsible for the dispositioning of non-conforming supplied material. This role will engage with cross functional teams to execute purges, screenings, and return to vendor activities. This position is an onsite position based out of Andover, MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Maintain metrics on current material position in non-conforming backlog.

  • Communicate quality notifications (QNs) to cross functional teams.

  • Initiate and coordinate purges and screening of non-conforming material.

  • Assist in managing touch labor to drive velocity and compliance with material flow, scanning, and inspection.

  • Communicate inspection requirements to confirm non-conforming conditions.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering, data analytics or technical experience.

  • Previous experience with data analysis, metrics and working with technical data dashboards

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools specifically Excel and respective functions to include: V-look-up functions, Pivot Tables, etc…

  • Experience identifying, interpreting and presenting data to yield continuous improvement opportunities

  • Experience working in a cross-functional team with representatives from Supply Chain, Operations, Program Quality and Manufacturing

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the aerospace/defense industry

  • Familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills

  • Metrics-driven

  • Experience with aerospace/defense industry drawing interpretation

  • Hands on experience with GD&T

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems

  • Knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering

  • Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ)

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
