PRINCIPAL - ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Ramsey Elementary, serving 900+ students from the Ramsey community. Full Time 12 months SUMMARY: Elementary School Principal is the instructional leader of the school, responsible for collaborating with building and District staff to implement curriculum and instructional programs that support learning opportunities for all students; monitoring and supervising instruction; supporting teachers in improving their instructional practice; creating a community of continuous learning for all staff and students; and fostering a culture of high expectations for all students. Must support the District's vision of equity and be a leader of equity for students and staff. In addition, the principal is charged with building strong partnerships with families and community, creating a safe, supportive school climate, and effectively managing operational, technical and staff issues to promote instructional progress. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: License: Requires Current MN Elementary Principal or K-12 Principal License. Requires a minimum of five years of K-12 educational leadership experience, (including a minimum of two years in a school-based administrator position preferred), with demonstrated results in improving academic performance of students. Effective oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents/guardians, and community. Successful experience in working with diverse populations. Successful experience in facilitating educational change. Salary: $116,219 - $140,472, DOQ, plus an excellent flex benefits package.
