V2X seeks a results-driven Agile Scrum Master to join our engineering teams working to develop advanced systems specializing in spectrum sharing, spectrum control, interference deconfliction, and automated system control. These applications may be specific to afloat Navy vessels and systems. As a result, any experience with afloat Navy combat, EW, radar, or other C4ISR systems is helpful.

The successful candidate should be well-versed in software development and testing, strong Agile team experience, communications skills, and an active Scrum Master certification. He or she should also have the ability to work independently and/or lead a small team and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will interact with the development team throughout the SDLC process in order to meet deadlines and pivot to meet customer requirements.

This position requires an active US DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Work location is in Arlington, VA. Applicants must be local to the DC Metro Area and/or able to work in Arlington when required. Opportunities for telework will be limited due to work classification. Local travel is required with the possibility of regional travel as needed, expected less than 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

Major Job Activities:

  • Work with our customer and other stakeholders to establish requirements.

  • Spearhead and provide guidance on best practices to optimize Agile practices across the technical team.

  • Maintain scrum board and conduct pre-scrum and post-scrum activities.

  • Clear any obstacles from the team members’ paths in order to ensure that they can dedicate their energy to development tasks.

  • Enhance team dynamics and collaboration.

  • Team collaboration and leadership.

  • Participate in product development from concept to execution to launch to ensure the product fully serves the needs of the end user.

  • Develop documentation.

  • Provide technical assistance and support as required.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BSCS) or similar field.

  • Scrum Master certification

    Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Experience interacting with SME's and users of varying technical abilities.

  • Strong experience leading and/or working within an Agile team environment.

    Skills:

  • Proficiency in common development tools, such as Git and Jira

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

    Clearance Requirement:

  • Active US DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
