The Accounting Manager is responsible for the management and integrity of various accounting processes and financial reporting functions.
Exciting work you will do:
Facilitate monthly close process.
Review or prepare key reconciliations and journal entries.
Prepare and analyze complex and/or confidential calculations.
Review various calculations prepared by staff accountants.
Assist with the preparation of internal and external monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting.
Design and implement key performance indicator reports.
Analyze and validate financial information at the business segment account levels.
Continuously seek to improve and refine accounting processes, policies, and controls.
Draft memos to communicate proper GAAP treatment for significant areas and transactions
Assist with the execution of the year-end financial audit.
Collaborate with IT to leverage system capabilities, continuously improve processes, and ensure data quality.
Partner with the treasury function to ensure accurate cash accounting and bank reporting.
Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.
What you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
6+ years of public accounting or related industry experience
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
Proficient in MS Office.
Expert with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.).
