Newell Brands’ Integrated Marketing associate manager is responsible for activating brand priorities and objectives into tangible data-driven strategies and KPI-led campaign plans. He/she works closely with domain expert counterparts to create and oversee robust national activations in close support of paid media and agency partners. Our Integrated Marketing associate manager acts as a key interface with brand management to increase agility, simplify processes and steward advertising spend optimizations. This role plays a critical part in the Digital Marketing team as he/she translates business segment activation calendars, innovation launches, big bets and budgets into digital priorities and extends best practices across brands. He/she will support development of the plans and programs necessary to help meet omni sales and share targets. He/she must be collaborative, and advocate for teamwork. Successful performance in the role is measured by revenue targets as well as digital marketing return on investment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with brand management teams as a key voice of the digital team to both understand their plans in order to influence marketing tactics and activities based on priorities

  • Facilitate digital marketing business reviews with digital and brand team – which analyze their performance, identify challenges/opportunities with coordinating actions to address, and develop activation programs to accelerate growth

  • Integrate various cross-functional inputs into overdrive or close-the-gap scenario planning leveraging knowledge of our business categories, evolving digital channels and target audiences

  • Assist annual brand planning process to inform digital teams of brand priorities and provide guidance on advertising spend splits by channel and or retailer

  • Execute and track (in concert with digital channel owners) brand specific digital marketing programs, activation plans and media to help meet sales objectives (across multiple brands and/or multiple customers). Nurture agency relationships as an extension of Newell’s team

  • Partner with analytics/agency/finance to continuously improve rigor around testing and KPI prioritization.

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree

  • 3+ years of marketing experience (digital marketing, advertising, brand management or channel management)

  • Comfortable using analytics, data and research to drive recommendations

  • Experience translating brand missions into actionable marketing tactics

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business, influential amongst peers to drive change

  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and workstreams while effectively managing changing priorities.

  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and has a thirst for learning

  • Take initiative & has a passion for winning as a team as well as his/her own career progression
