The AVP Product Management leader will play a vital role in driving the design, development and delivery of transformation based, client-centric consulting services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving integration of our capabilities and practices to meet the needs of our clients while ensuring continuous evolution of go-to-market solutions to address client needs and drive business value. This role will also be responsible for designing and successfully executing the 3-year services strategy and offering roadmap. To be successful, the candidate must be familiar with all aspects of a consulting business and be able to understand and anticipate client needs and determine services/products to address them. In addition, this leader will oversee a portfolio of offerings, ensuring that North Highland is positioned to successfully evolving to meet the needs of our client base while also forging ahead to where the market is headed. The ideal candidate will combine adept and complex problem-solving skills with proven solution/product management expertise within a consulting or professional services environment. If you are a strategic thinker, process and metrics oriented, and highly consultative individual who understands the power of innovation, insights, data and analytics, and the role they play in elevating consulting programs, then you will thrive in this role.
Exciting work you will do:
Design and develop offerings and services that support our position as the leading change and transformation consultancy
Develop short- and long-term services/product strategy and implementation roadmap that supports our position as the leading change and transformation consultancy
Determine future market needs, key client challenges, and competitive landscape to inform service/product enhancements and build/buy recommendations
Identify new skills in the marketplace needed to design, develop, and deliver state of the art consulting services to ensure North Highland’s competitive advantage in this space
Engage in build or buy decisioning strategy in new service offerings
Work with SMEs in ensuring North Highland’s successful Digital Services product development
Partner with internal subject matter experts to develop proprietary and differentiated approaches to resolve client challenges and ensure the relevance of our suite of offerings to the market demands
Oversee cross-capability alignment and collaboration for services/product builds
Lead digital tool development to support product delivery
Develop a variety of service-oriented products including defining services and scope, delivery methodology, tools, pricing structure, and success KPIs
Oversee ongoing optimization of service offerings based on performance and market relevance
What you will need:
10 years of experience in a product management or similar function, building go-to-market consulting services and products or services management role at a leading consulting or professional services firm
5 consulting projects delivered to clients
Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills, time management, decision making, and organizational skills required
Strong, confident leadership style of communication with solid ability to build relationships internally and with key partners to deliver outstanding customer service and support
Proven skill of progressive/visionary thinking
Ability to understand and synthesize core client needs and behaviors across core organizational functions (i.e. Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations, CX, etc.)
Demonstrable experience in developing high-quality, well-structured, and client ready deliverables
Proven success delivering solutions in a complex, rapidly changing environment
Expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelors, Business Administration required, MBA from a leading business school is preferred
