Position Summary

Working under general supervision, the Business Coordinator plays a key role in managing administration tasks and fostering effective communication between departments. The responsibilities encompass scheduling meetings, handling logistics, and actively participating in project coordination. A crucial aspect of the role involves professionally designing project-related documents and maintaining project files to ensure rigorous document control.

Additionally, the Business Coordinator conducts research and organizational studies, offering valuable recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the assigned area. The position is pivotal in streamlining processes, addressing inquiries, and contributing to the overall organization and coordination within the Global Transformation and Strategy Team. Through these multifaceted responsibilities, the Business Coordinator actively supports the team's objectives and ensures smooth operational flow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational and task support for team projects, including the development of reports, logistics planning, and scheduling meetings.

  • Process expense reports, prepare presentations, conduct data analysis, and develop workflow diagrams and user stories.

  • Perform time studies and may assist in managing budgets.

  • Project Coordination: Attend conference calls and meetings, note action items, and manage follow-up with relevant parties.

  • Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple internal and external work activities, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Report the status of business plans regularly, identify issues, and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist in training on new processes, products, or procedures and may contribute to documenting training materials such as user guides and assist with requirements for new or existing processes.

  • Build and maintain relationships within the organization and project teams.

  • Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably with a focus on information gathering and documenting and/or problem-solving.

  • 1-2 years experience required

  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills, including fact gathering, defining objectives, and determining alternatives.

  • Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze problems and provide sound recommendations.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, including excellent proofing and editing skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Highly motivated, creative, articulate, and results-oriented.

  • Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Team player with ability to work independently.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.

  • May need to travel, with an expectation that travel will be limited.
