This is an opportunity for a high-performer to build and lead an amazing team and partner with our executive team to pursue and secure our most interesting and novel Fortune 500 client challenges across industries, functions and all types of “change and transformation” centered topics.

As Manager, Solution Sales Enablement you'll lead a team of professionals responsible for acting as trusted business partners to our executives in the field. In this role, you and your team will develop custom consulting solution sales content (points of view, high-impact presentations, solution sketches and initial approaches, proposals, statements of work, etc.) in partnership with firm Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) while simultaneously leading sales operations and directing and deploying solution sales leaders against various prioritized global business development opportunities to achieve incremental targets.

Through your strategic approach, complex problem-solving orientation, storytelling capability, and an ability to lead and influence others at all levels, you'll provide impactful leadership and make strong strategic recommendations to help North Highland executives achieve aggressive growth objectives.

This is an ideal role for a dynamic problem-solver with proven strategy consulting and “solution architecture” experience at a leading strategy or Big 4 consulting firm; who may now prefer to work “behind the scenes” with limited travel expectations to enable others.

You’ll develop and communicate leading practices to clients and client teams alike, and act as a mentor or coach to client executives, Solution Sales leaders, and North Highland portfolio leads.

Exciting Work You Will Do:

  • Direct, build and manage North Highland’s solution sales teams, activities, and plans (including a team of four to six direct report sales content developers and leadership/alignment of 10 to 12 Solutions Sales Architects/team members).

  • Partner, enable and report to our Solution Sales Vice-President to determine priorities, lead teams and drive against annual objectives.

  • Leverage North Highland’s IP/Solutions assets and partner with Solution Sales subject matter experts to develop compelling, customized sales content

  • Analyze specific Business Development opportunities and other pursuits to determine fit and direct team resources against evolving priorities

  • Partner with North Highland’s Solution Development to inform future priorities/backlog and evolve core North Highland solutions based on client feedback and long-term proposal needs.

  • Coach and develop your team of high-performers, and encourage and facilitate an atmosphere of continuous learning and ongoing improvement

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • Strong academic credentials with a Bachelor's degree from a leading institution; Master's degree highly preferred

  • A proven history of advancement with demonstrated excellence at leading organizations

  • 5 to 9 years related professional experience; with experience in Big 4 or strategy consulting firm as a practicing and high performing consultant highly desired

  • Experience supporting front-line sales or operations organization in a professional services industry a strong plus

  • Excellent to world-class written communication skills— an ability to craft and articulate the story behind the numbers; develop compelling storylines and to distill the complex

  • Relevant experience with leading Fortune 500 transformation initiatives from visioning and strategy articulation through technology implementation, organizational change and sustained value creation

  • Adept at taking a consultative approach in business transactions, and influencing executive decision-making

  • Effective multi-tasking and prioritization skills

  • Strong teaming abilities, with a demonstrated ability to build a high-performing team, attract and develop strong team members, and virtual teaming ability

  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint an absolute must

  • Salesforce experience a plus
