The Resource Management Capability Lead supports North Highland’s core capabilities/capability of our business. The primary function of this role is to partner with Capability Executives and work directly with North Highland’s biggest investment… OUR PEOPLE! This role is integral to ensuring each project in the firm has the right resource mix to execute and deliver work to our valued clients. In conjunction with the People team, this role is responsible for supporting activities to grow our consulting resources, sustain recruiting and streamline resource management operations.
Exciting work you will do:
Proactively maintains strong understanding of North Highland’s business and skills needed in our core capabilities.
Work closely with Talent Acquisition on hiring needs and regarding resource options
Ability to manage resource related processes in line with the company’s business standards while maintaining flexibility.
Establishes being an subject matter expert within the capabilities’ competencies and people across the firm.
Develops and maintains resource forecasts
Works with internal Resource Portfolio Partners to get ahead of demand, drive resource utilization and manage bench optimization.
What you will need:
6+ years of related working experience in a professional services or consulting organization
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
Solid understanding of the consulting business model, understanding of political aspects of the organization and ability to challenge in a constructive manner
Significant analytical and process execution experience
Solid project management and Microsoft tools experience
Demonstrated professional presence, comfortable challenging executives as appropriate
Experience with WorkDay
Strong ability to analyze data trends in resource management
Exhibit strong resilience and ability to execute against challenges
Ability to multi task and set priorities to fulfill commitments successfully
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large
Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems
Willingness for some amount of travel as needed to best coordinate with market leads and resources
