Senior Account Executive

Our Senior Account Executive (Manager level in our Experience Design capability, Sparks Grove) is responsible for day-to-day account management, overall strategic planning, creative development and execution of our clients B2B advertising campaign and related sales/marketing initiatives. Candidate must be assertive, able to demonstrate initiative and have strong Client and project management skills/experience.

Exciting work you will do:

  • Be well-versed in our clients overall brand and specifically B2B products, services, audiences in order to drive strategic planning, develop campaign objectives and actionable strategies.

  • Train and educate team on Client business/industry.

  • Monitor competitive landscape and provide POVs to client on competitive campaigns

  • Responsible for day-to-day relationship management between account team, agency departments and Client.

  • Manage strategic client relationships and daily interactions

  • Develop and grow relationships with senior Client contacts.

  • Engage in efforts to expand the services provided to the Client.

  • Lead and manage all B2B advertising and out-of-scope projects comprised of, but not limited to, Digital, Print, Experiential/Event OOH, Social, Email Marketing, Marketing Collateral.

  • Write creative briefs, develop production schedules and lead creative development for all projects and initiatives.

  • Brief creative teams to insure proper direction and integration with the clients overall brand image and B2B positioning.

  • Provide actionable direction to senior creatives and other departments based on Client feedback.

  • QA all creative work to ensure it is on brief and aligns with Brand/B2B product standards

  • Ensure delivery of all creative assets against approved media plan

  • Develop Agency recommendations and POVs in conjunction with creatives and/or insight teams

  • Lead collaborative relationship with the client's Media Agency and/or other internal departments for effective execution of B2B marketing campaign objectives.

  • Develop and deliver presentations at all levels internally and to the Client.

  • Lead/manage all administrative responsibilities for account including:

  • Scope efforts for all strategic and creative projects across disciplines (account, insights, creative)

  • Budget tracking and management

  • Review invoices prior to submitting to Client.

  • Manage internal work flow in collaboration with creative/resourcing to ensure efficiencies and continued improvements.

  • Meet regularly with internal team to discuss current and upcoming projects and other relevant Client business challenges/issues.

  • Manage team workloads and individual assignments as related to project deliverables.

  • Consult management of the account to discuss opportunities and potential issues that impact the Client’s business and Client relationship as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in agency Account Management or related work experience required B2B advertising/marketing experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Preferred Skills:

  • Team player with demonstrated ability to partner, collaborate with a diverse range of resources and personalities with distinct perspectives

  • Strong personnel management and communications skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively

  • Must be able to lead and manage internal as well as external/outsourced teams.

  • Experience with production of all types of media; digital, social, print, direct marketing preferred

  • High attention to detail through proofing, follow through and scheduling

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and multi-task successfully

  • Ability to balance priorities for efficient workflow

  • Adept thinker with excellent strategic communications skills: both writing and presenting

  • A passion for delivering great work

  • Computer literate and web savvy

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a sense of humor
