The Opportunity:

The Early Careers Senior Campus Recruiter will work on a combination of strategic projects, events and recruiting efforts that fall under WestRock Early Careers. In addition, the Campus Recruiter will lead Diversity and Professional Outreach and engagement efforts as well as enhance university and customer relationships.

How will you impact WestRock:

  • Be a communications and relationship champion for our early career candidate pipeline, existing early career associates and internal customers.

  • Assist with sourcing intern, co-op and full-time candidates as well as maintain candidate pipelines and help ensure that all candidates have a point of contact.

  • Lead and support virtual/on-campus event planning and coordination.

  • Work closely with facility HR professionals to develop and track metrics for early career candidate sourcing, hiring, placement, retention, and diversity.

  • Organize and manage job postings for early career roles; schedule interviews and communicate interview details.

  • Provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers.

  • Maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure candidate records are complete and that the recruitment process is accurately tracked and in alignment with established work processes.

  • Work as part of a dedicated team and take on other related tasks to improve candidate and customer experience for WestRock Early Careers.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent skills working with MS O365 suite of products including TEAMS, Planner, Word, and Excel

  • Preferred Knowledge of Handshake

  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service and communication

  • Impeccable attention to detail in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment while driving the interview process from start to finish

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

  • A background in a client-facing role
