Talent Development Facilitator - Atlanta

The Talent Development Facilitator will lead the delivery and design of core North Highland programs. The Talent Development Facilitator is responsible for selecting and utilizing appropriate training delivery and facilitation methods to deliver both structured and just-in-time training programs. This role reports to the Program Manager of the Talent Management and Development Team and will partner with the other Program Managers to build, innovate and run strong development programs for the firm. The Talent Management and Development team consists of performance management, learning and leadership development, knowledge management and employee engagement. This individual will be willing to help build strategic development and program goals, implement plans­ and roll up their sleeves to make things happen.

Exciting work you will do:

  • Lead ongoing and new initiatives focused on aligning to the North Highland culture and developmental needs of the firm

  • Coordinate with Talent Management and Development team to schedule training/educational sessions

  • Influence internal client relationships for optimal participation in training programs

  • Deliver learning programs while meeting effectiveness guidelines and ensuring discussion-based learning

  • Evaluate and measure ongoing development curriculum and related training materials; recommend and coordinate updates to existing training material for continuous improvement of course content and program delivery techniques

  • Assist in creating new training programs with support from subject-matter experts

  • Design and utilize learning activities for training participants to ensure transfer of learning

  • Plan and execute training related projects, such as training process improvements, cost analysis, and measurements of training effectiveness.

  • Assess learning program participants for knowledge and behaviors learned

  • Track current trends and needs in learning through internal/external networks and identify opportunities to add value

  • Support knowledge management in driving knowledge capture by assisting with targeted content curation, soliciting project artifacts from engagement teams.

  • Support knowledge management in preparation and maintenance of project content on the Hub (North Highland's intranet/document repository), including applying relevant metadata.

What you will need:

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to apply adult learning theory to classroom facilitation and program updates

  • Ability to facilitate workshops that guide participants toward achieving the desired learning outcomes

  • Ability to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in verbal, written, visual, or multimedia form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

  • Ability to evaluate priorities and execute tasks accordingly in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work autonomously, within teams and as a liaison to internal and external clients

  • Communication, active listening, internal consulting, interpersonal, and influencing skills

  • Knowledge of training and organizational development theory and practice

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, education, instructional design, communication, business administration, MIS, or a related field required

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in facilitation and instructional design required

  • Passion for learning and for developing people to reach their potential

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline orientated, dynamic and virtual environment

  • Proven ability to work in a cross-organization team environment, collaborating on key deliverables in support of training

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and counsel to optimize individual performance/develop learning needs

  • Ability to travel to facilitate in-person training sessions

  • Understand Talent Management and Development functions as critical to business success

  • Experience in management consulting and/or North Highland experience a plus

  • eLearning design, LMS and knowledge management experience strongly desired

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality results and deliverables

  • Proficiency in MS Office and (preferred) SharePoint
