Risk Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to join Aon’s Global Risk Consulting team in a Full Time position based out Aon’s Head office located in Commercial Bay.

What your day will look like

As a Risk Engineer you’ll be responsible for conducting Risk Surveys and the assessment of Risk Controls, Probable Maximum Loss, and providing Technical Services.

Some of your responsibilities will include,

  • Risk Engineering work

  • The creation and delivery of Underwriting and Risk Improvement reports

  • Business Interruption studies

  • Partnering and collaborating with our specialists and brokerage team to provide clients with full end to end Risk solutions

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • You will need to be degree qualified in an Engineering field and have CPEng status or another equivalent.

  • Experience delivering in a Risk Engineering or Risk Consulting position will be highly valued

  • Confident in meeting with clients, presenting back reporting and discussing through issues

  • You’ll have the ability to identify practical and economic controls that can be implemented to minimise identified risks
