Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design of structural component for motor-generator m/c including bearings, rotors, and electronic cabinets / casings.

• Hands-on knowledge of electromagnetics and its effect on mechanical design of electrical m/c including understanding of EMI standards and requirements.

• Able to analyze the design as per various IEEE / client's internal guidelines for shock and vibe requirements applicable to Aerospace quality designs.

• Able to use UG NX or similar packages to computer-aided designs with sufficient background in tolerance-stack up.

• willing to connect with external / internal manufacturing for prototype built up.

• Able to follow client’s internal design practices for mechanical and vibrational analysis.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Must have 5+ years of experience in FE Analysis using ANSYS Classic/Workbench

• Should have Good Knowledge in Linear & Non-Linear Static Structural analysis, Dynamic analysis, and Thermo-mechanical analysis using ANSYS.

• Should be Good in hand calculations, Verification & interpretation of FE Results

• Experience in NX UG tool will be a plus.
