You will help build and expand the early versions of this application that will have a long lasting and highly visible impact on cloud computing customers. Design, develop, implement, test, document and deliver components of a large-scale, multi-tiered, software application. All team members actively participate in product definition, technical architecture review, iterative development, code review, and operations. The ideal candidate will be clearly passionate about start-up opportunities, and have a demonstrated track record of success delivering new features or products. This person has thrived and succeeded in delivering high-quality technology products/services in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast. They should enjoy working on complex system software, be customer-centric, and feel strongly about building good software as well as making that software achieve its operational goals. They should have implementation experience with knowledge of web services and cloud architecture. Responsibilities * Influence the design, implementation, testing, and performance optimization of the various services that compose the application * Collaborate closely with other engineering, product and experience teams. * Participate in code and design reviews. * Contribute to front end teams when necessary * Spearhead best practices that enable a quality product, and help guide junior engineers.
