Why this job matters

Over the next 3 years, our transformation programmes are going to replace every product, process, and technology tool that our colleagues and customers use today. We are going to make major shifts towards being a digital-first organisation, with zero touch processes and GenAI embedded at our core. A drive to modernise the organisation is the key priority for BT Business. To modernise we need to drastically simplify our portfolio. You’ll be at the heart of this by identifying opportunities to reduce the number of products we have in BT Business. An expert in managing change, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, including Product, Digital, Service and Marketing teams, to move the organisation to a new portfolio and realise the benefits of migrating away from old systems and processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating plans for and executing on the withdrawal of an agreed set of products

  • Creating commercial decision framework for product withdrawals and interlocking with product teams on their plans

  • Own product rationalisation from initial plan to rationalise, through migration to product closure

  • Building cross functional relationships with Digital, Product, Segment and Service to interlock on plans and benefits

  • Communicating progress to Senior Manager, Director and MD level stakeholders

This job is based in Birmingham but we will consider any of the Strategic hubs. Hybrid (3 days office based, 2 days remote). Monday to Friday, 9-5.

  • Ability to build a culture of continuous learning and development and mutual support

  • Experience working on projects that involved you analysing complex data and making recommendations

  • Examples of strong stakeholder management, including delivering difficult messages to senior stakeholders

  • Examples of driving change within an organisation with demonstratable output
