Description We are seeking a Plant Controller to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, you will play an integral part in our day-to-day operations, providing financial support and challenging the team when necessary. You will be heavily involved in analyzing profitability, reviewing capital expenditure proposals, pricing, cost reduction projects, and spend. You will also assist with various projects and deliverables as required.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all U.S. GAAP and company policies and procedures.

• Explain results for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet for Bloomington Operations.

• Oversee the month-end close process for the location, ensuring all journal entries and account reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.

• Support various initiatives, key tasks, and deliverables as required.

• Act as a business partner and resource to the Bloomington Operation Manager and other location leadership team members.

• Act as finance liaison for profitability/cost/pricing projects and analysis, growth project analysis, CapEx analysis, and any other ad-hoc projects.

• Challenge colleagues and team members as needed, challenge status quo, and help keep the location focused on growth, improving profitability, and improving Working Capital.

• Support process improvement efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department and location as a whole.

• Simplify financial information and results, and direct key team members to pertinent facts that can help drive improvement actions.

• Be the “gatekeeper” for financial data at the location.

• Review financial systems and processes, and where necessary, drive changes and training of key individuals.

• Assist in the annual budget process and own the monthly forecast process for Bloomington operations.

• Oversee the annual Standard Cost roll process, and any variances or deviations that occur throughout the year.

• Manage the annual Physical Inventory process for Bloomington operations. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Plant Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Proficient in CapEx, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, and Budget Processes.

• Strong knowledge of Capital Management and QAD software.

• Experience with SQL, HFM, and Microsoft Power BI is essential.

• Must have experience managing Annual Physical Inventory.

• Proficiency in Standard Cost Accounting and Standard Costing.

• Experience in Month End Close, Financial Reporting, Balance Sheets, and Profit and loss is required.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.

• Certification in CMA or similar is a plus.
