Responsibilities

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic RN Program Manager If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you! The RN Program Manager assumes responsibility for facility operations during the assigned shifts. This includes supervising nursing and clinical staff, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner. This position has responsibility for the supervision of care of patients ranging in age from age twelve through geriatrics. This Program Manager position is over ICU, East (ICU overflow) and Adult units.

Shift: Full Time days Monday through Friday

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor's Degree specializing in nursing or actively pursuing a BSN is preferred, or Associates in Nursing with a minimum of three (3) years of psychiatric experience. Experience: Three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing.

    Additional Requirements: CPR certification.Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements preferred. STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE Leadership 1. Ensure that a system is developed to provide continuity of care and communication with patients. 2. Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice. 3. Implement program policies and procedures and acts as a resource to the staff. 4. Ensure the program complies with JCAHO, HCFA, state and patients rights regulatory standards. 5. Conduct and maintain records of monthly program meetings. 6. Assign staff according to patient needs and document assignments per unit documentation forms. 7. Evaluate program effectiveness and formulate plans for improvement. 8. Develop staffing schedules in accordance with patient needs.
