As a Senior Demand Forecasting Data Analyst on the Fixed Wing programmes in BDUK (Boeing Defence United Kingdom), your primary responsibility is to assist in the coordination and execution of the demand planning process for the fixed wing programmes. Your role involves working closely with various teams, including Data Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Programme and Finance, to ensure effective planning and execution of the programmes.. This role will report to the Supply Chain Planning & Programme Integration Manager for BDUK Fixed Wing Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Establish methods to proactively identify data misalignments and install the necessary mitigation plans to correct them.

  • Lead the collaboration between Fixed Wing Supply Chain and Data Analytics teams to ensure enduring solutions are established that provide data clarity to the business.

  • Report out to Programme on Supply Chain data accuracy and establish a best practice that can be shared with other business units.

  • Leading and maintaining the SI&OP process for the P8 ASP programme by facilitating the existing process and ensuring cross-functional stakeholders fulfil their relevant responsibilities.

  • Gathering and analysing data relevant to the SI&OP process and reporting out to senior cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the SI&OP process for the Fixed Wing programmes by sharing best practice and lessons learned.

  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure demand plans align with business requirements.

  • Collaborating with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure adequate supply of materials, components, and resources to meet the demand.

  • Identifying potential bottlenecks or constraints and working with relevant teams to address them.

  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SI&OP, such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and output. Preparing regular reports and presentations to communicate performance and highlight areas for improvement.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years Supply Chain or Data Analytics experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and working with relevant tools/software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data sets.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Outcome focused and demonstrates strong values-based leadership.

  • Ability to obtain UK security clearance

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in SI&OP or demand/supply planning roles.

  • University degree in a relevant subject.

  • Experience using Python, SQL or similar functionality.

  • Experience using SAP.

  • Knowledge of Aerospace or Defense industry and related regulations (preferred).

This is a hybrid role and primary location is Bristol.

Additional locations a re : Frimley, Gosport, Lossiemouth Scotland and Yeovil.
