Procurement Category Manager - Learning, Culture and Recruitment Services is a mid-senior procurement role sitting within the Citi Global Sourcing (CGS) function. This is an individual contributor role however the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with colleagues in different countries and functions. While this role will primarily have responsibilities for the HR Learning, Culture and Recruitment Services activities in EMEA it falls into the Citi Global Functions Sourcing team and smaller global projects from HR and Employee services may need to be undertaken from time to time.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Learning, Culture and Recruitment Services subcategory, specifically for the high spend and strategically significant countries
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for the subcategory
Act as a subject matter expert within the category
Develop and maintain strong relationship with senior business stakeholders and other internal stakeholders as well as with third party suppliers
Run end-to-end procurement on assigned projects
Analyze business processes and determine opportunities for influencing (and reducing) supply and demand of services.
Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of purchasing policies and procedures. Ensure full compliance with purchasing policies, procedures and standards, ethical practices, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations
Ideal background:
5-8 years of experience in a multinational company
Procurement experience ideally in HR categories such as
Payroll
Recruitment
Learning & Development
Medical and Dental Insurance
Compensation and other HR Services
Proven ability to negotiate pricing and vendor contracts
Strong project management skills
Expert spoken and written English language is required
Experience in working remotely with country stakeholders and with suppliers
