    About the Role:

    The Data Analyst performs various tasks associated with gathering and analyzing data, organizes and documents the findings, and prepares Senior Executive briefing material to support findings. Collaborates to transform information into meaningful reports and presentation material. Performs data management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities contained in reporting systems. Possess a working knowledge of statistics. Demonstrated ability to produce visualizations to communicate findings using tables and charts. Proficient with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI. Familiar with readiness analytics development and reporting for Type/Model/Series (TMS) teams. Possesses a working knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance and supply processes and their data systems (i.e., NAMP, P-485, OOMA/DECKPLATE, AMSRR, RSUPPLY, AFAST, ACES, TFMMS, SHARP/MSHARP, PSILS, and ASM).

    Must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics / data science

  • At least 5 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of products including Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

  • At least 4 years of experience analyzing data to solve complex problems and run frequent excursion requests from senior leadership

  • At least 3 years of experience in support of Naval Aviation readiness

  • At least 3 years of experience using machine learning and predictive analytics to recommend ways to improve outcomes to clients

  • At least 2 years of experience querying and compiling data from various databases including DECKPLATE or OOMA

  • At least 4 years of experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Science, Math, Economics, Business Analytics or other related technical degree

  • A secret security clearance

    Nice to have:

  • Masters Degree in Data Science, Math, Economics, Business Analytics or other related technical degree

  • E with MILCON, industrial infrastructure, industrial capability, and industrial repair capacity

  • Experience in data analytics focused on tying investments of industrial infrastructure improvements to improvements in fleet readiness or to support data-drive upgrades focused on increases in industrial capability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
