Description

As a Data Analyst with advanced Excel skills, you will play a vital role in automating insurance formatting standards to ensure compliance and consistency across our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of our business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Excel to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand insurance formatting standards and data requirements.

  • Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and templates to automate data formatting processes.

  • Implement macros, formulas, and VBA scripts to streamline data manipulation and transformation tasks.

  • Design and execute data validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of formatted data.

  • Create documentation and training materials to support end-users in utilizing automated formatting tools.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users regarding Excel-based solutions.

  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.

  • Stay up-to-date with Excel best practices and techniques to continually enhance automation capabilities.

  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Excel-based solutions with other business applications and systems.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on automating data processes using advanced Excel skills.

  • Expertise in Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.

  • Proficiency in VBA programming for Excel automation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data requirements and design effective solutions.

  • Experience working with insurance data or knowledge of insurance industry standards is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
