North Highland is currently seeking an experienced consultant to join our growing Supply Chain capability team. The Supply Chain capability team works in close partnership with North Highland Client Executives to sell and deliver transformational engagements with new and existing clients across a variety of industries.

The Supply Chain Expert Practitioner will lead business development and project delivery activities for complex engagements. The Expert Practitioner will also shape new Supply Chain capability offerings, research and publish thought leadership material, and mentor junior Supply Chain consultants.

Exciting work you will do:

  • Lead the delivery of transformational supply chain projects across multiple industries, including Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Media and Telecommunications.

  • Support business development and project engagements as a subject matter expert around a variety of Supply Chain topics, including:

  • Inventory planning and optimization

  • Warehouse network strategy

  • Warehouse process improvement and facility design

  • Support development of engagement proposals, including complex RFP responses

  • Develop thought leadership materials (white papers, case studies, blog posts) to strengthen North Highland’s market eminence

  • Develop trusted-advisor relationships with client Supply Chain/Operations/IT executives

  • Contribute to the build-out of new and refined Supply Chain service offerings

  • Formally coach and mentor junior consultants with an interest in building expertise within Supply Chain

What you will need:

  • 5+ years of supply chain management consulting experience with a Big 4 consulting firm or specialized supply chain firm

  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex Supply Chain consulting engagements within mid to large-size organizations ($2B+ annual revenue) and interfacing with senior level client executives

  • Multiple years leading transformational supply chain programs, spanning strategy development through implementation. Experience leading Supply Chain cost take-out programs within the areas of distribution, transportation and inventory management.
