TEKsystems Key Account Manager in Chicago, Illinois
Description:
• Respond to leads on a regular basis from existing biotechnological and pharmaceutical accounts.
• Prepares quotes for prospective customers.
• Negotiate CDA’s, Development and Commercial Supply Agreements, manage Quality Agreements with QP, all with support of the legal group and management
• Host customer visits in Germany
• Identifies and exhibits/speaks at trade shows and relevant industry events
• Maintains and updates Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
• Develops new business opportunities and demonstrates active customer interaction within current accounts.
• Participate as a key member of the high-performing KAM team.
• Comfortable working within an international, multi-disciplinary team
• Ready for challenges and committed to near and long-term professional growth and development
• Coordinate the activities of internal resources at company headquarters in Ravensburg, Germany as well as at the clinical site of excellence in Chicago, IL to support the sales effort, expand business opportunities within the account, manage ongoing service performance and meet performance objectives
• Proactively develop and lead strategic account-planning activities for individual key accounts
• Proactively and reactively assess customer needs and develop solutions within to respond to these needs by coordinating internal resources and involving company personnel
• Prepare regular reports such as monthly reports, account plans (updates 2X annually), and respond to marketing information requests
• Other duties as assigned
Travel Expectations:
• 6-8 trips/year to Germany (typically 1 week, with 2 x 2-weeks during 1st year for training)
• 1-2 US Tradeshows per year
• 1-2 off-site meetings (domestic)
• Domestic travel (1–3-day trips – 2x to 3x monthly) based on market demand
Assigned 1-2 Key Accounts that range from $30M-$40M.

Work Enviornment:
100% remote role - candidate must sit in Central or Eastern Standard Time Zone
Travel to Germany 6+ times a year

Hours: Flex, get your work done during the week and during central standard hours.
$9,000 - $45,000 profit sharing bonus a year
