As a developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver development projects within schedules and budgets

  • Revise and troubleshoot development work as required

  • Act as QA tester (for code that’s not your own work)

  • Work closely with, and follow direction and advice, from Sr. Developers and Lead Developers

  • Follow approved North Highland SDLC

  • Keep current with programming skills/languages/platforms

Required skills

  • Development

  • 3+ years of relevant development experience

  • Experience with Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and JavaScript

  • Experience with Agile ways of working

  • Experience with responsive design

  • Testing

  • Understanding of browser compatibility issues

  • Experience with manual testing

  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree or certificate from accredited program

  • Ability to travel when necessary

Preferred skills

  • Development

  • JavaScript frameworks, esp Angular and React

  • Hybrid/Native mobile development

  • Advanced degrees and applicable certifications
