What You'll Do

We’re looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to join our Commercial Real Estate Private Debt team. In this role, you’ll provide analytical support to the team in real estate transaction analysis and execution!

• Assist the production team and perform independent technical analysis within appropriate risk/return parameters on investment opportunities including transactions structures, appraisals, cash flow analysis, lease reviews, financial statement reviews

• Effectively communicate conclusions concerning a transaction's investment risk and viability

• Provide analytical support for evaluating investment opportunities, using sensitivity analysis, variance analysis, or preliminary valuations. Assist investment professionals with the preparation of necessary supporting documentation

• Development and maintenance of a detailed understanding of real estate economics, competitive environments and existing portfolios within assigned markets

• Assist in the movement of transactions through the investment process utilizing all available resources while assuring accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain a thorough understanding of products, programs and clients needs through available training programs and involvement in ongoing investment activities

• Participate in annual portfolio review activities, information accumulation and dissemination for clients, team members and management (i.e. EBA, market activity, etc

Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor's degree with a strong background in finance, economics, or business; preferably real estate emphasis

• You have at least three years work experience in commercial real estate

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$86450 - $105000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role will be based out of our World Headquarters located in Des Moines, IA.

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office or four days in-office and one day remote. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
