Our client is looking for a Head Architect in Robotics & Automation to develop the foundation for the area within the company.
Responsible for governance of RPA roadmap, prioritization and service delivery across projects in collaboration with the Director of Robotics and Automation
Develop RPA architecture and solutions focusing on scalability and extensibility
Provides guidance for continuous improvements and best practices on solution delivery
Develop architecture standards/guidelines/policies based on the organization’s needs, and anticipated technology advances to guide solutions
Shape the end-to-end architecture and design, and work with the program head and team to implement the solutions
Define templates and set best standards and practices for development as part of CI organization
Coordinate with platform vendor for issues and support requests. Key Shared Accountabilities
Definition and leadership of automation and efficiency agenda
Business case development
Proactively respond to strategic delivery questions
Help resolve enterprise resourcing challenges / trade-offs, providing options/recommendations
Monitor and track ongoing benefits realization and transition to BAU
Publish periodical reports / dashboards
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
Critical Expertise & Experience:
7+ years experience in software development, including design, implementation, debugging and support
2-4 years experience in Robotic / Intelligent Process Automation – Preferably Blue Prism
Experience in taking RPA tools to deployment
Expertise in Bot control/management using control room functions
Proven experiencing coordinating and communicating across functional groups, including communicating technical software solutions to non-technical stakeholders Team/Individual Capabilities
Ability to lead, guide, and provide mentorship to developers
Able to resolve critical issues that might come up during deployment
Key Metrics The Architect of Robotics & Automation will be expected to drive business outcomes across the following metrics:

Project Manager, Robotics & Automation Operating Model Parameters:
Active presence in stakeholder meetings
Effective and timely support to and from matrix teams in the wider business to enable delivery
Strong internal network and communication lines with stakeholders to solicit and provide appropriate advice and guidance
Engagement with 3rd party suppliers
