Comerica Private Wealth Regional Director in Ft Lauderdale, Florida

Private Wealth Regional Director This position will be responsible for the following primary accountabilities: Regional Manager has management responsibility for brokerage, investment management, private banking, trust and insurance business lines. Responsible for the management, supervision and direction of all new business development and relationship management activities for all WM products and services for the assigned market. Responsible for assuring clients' needs are met while providing for growth and profitability of all WM business lines. This position will oversee pipeline management, sales efforts for WM and delivering the WM model in this geographic area and will also have responsibilities around risk management and retaining and recruiting top talent. Responsibilities * Responsible for the management, supervision and direction of all new business development and relationship management activities for all WM products and services for the assigned region. Products and services include personal trust, investment management, brokerage, insurance, lending, deposit gathering, institutional trust and 401 (k) plans. * Oversees new business development and collaborates with Group Business/Discipline Managers and Regional Managing Director in setting and tracking sales goals. * This position is responsible for interacting effectively with other bank professionals to develop strategies for new business and opportunities to leverage current client relationships. * Responsible for overseeing the growth in Comerica's loan and deposit relationships while ensuring credit quality and pricing strategies are managed within acceptable policy parameters in the assigned offices. * Collaboration with Commercia and Retail Growth in AUM and NII fee income. * Client Relationships and Retention -Responsible for assuring clients' needs are met while providing for growth and profitability of the business lines. * Responsible for personally engaging in large and complex client relationships in the assigned region. -Ensure that clients are being provided full array of Wealth Management services to help build stronger relationships and grow client wealth via different Wealth Management products. * Responsible for content, scheduling, organizing and leading of sales team meetings by location (or combination of locations if appropriate) to aid and assist the team to achieve sales goals. * Works with Corporate Marketing in reviewing and executing Wealth Management's brand strategy with a uniform set of marketing materials and client correspondence. Responsible for managing all recognition programs and events in the assigned region. * Responsible for execution of all WM-wide projects and initiatives involving the assigned region. * Responsible for PMP, merit increases, hiring and firing staff for the region.
