Calling all future recruiters! Glens Falls Hospital is looking for a strategic, energetic, and forward-thinking individual to join us as the Recruiter on our Talent Acquisition (TA) team! Team Impact Glens Falls Hospital’s Talent Acquisition team consists of two Talent Acquisition Specialists (recruiters), and a Director of Talent Acquisition, Onboarding and Retention. Together, this team has modernized recruitment strategies leveraging evidence-based methods for bolstering candidate sourcing, increasing candidate volume and filling vacancies across a wide domain of clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full life-cycle talent acquisition: sourcing candidates, developing/managing marketing strategies, reviewing resumes, screening candidates and processing offers.In this position, you will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, with plenty of growth opportunities along the way!Further position highlights include: · Flexible schedule which values work-life balance · Potential for growth within Talent Acquisition coinciding with performance/success · Monday-Friday role in a comfortable office environment · Opportunity to step into a professional healthcare environment · Opportunity to partner with and learn form a wide variety of HR Professionals The Glens Falls Hospital Impact Mission * * Our Mission is to improve the health of people in our region by providing access to exceptional, affordable, and patient-centered care every day and in every setting. * * How You Will Fulfill Your Potential * * Responsibilities · Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with talent acquisition team members, candidates, hiring managers and external recruiting partners · Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline · Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing initial screenings · Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations · Provide a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience by providing frequent and regular updates throughout the recruiting process and providing guidance as needed · Organize and attend recruiting events (job fairs, campus events, etc.) · Facilitate Superday interviews, including scheduling and coordinating candidate and interviewer availability, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared, and providing logistical support during the interview day · Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies · Prepare and process offers · Manage applicant tracking and maintain accurate data on candidate pipelines, recruiting events, and other recruiting metrics · Prepare hiring status reports Qualifications/Experience * * Education/Accredited Programs * * · Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or business-related field required · Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition/HR strongly preferred · Experience in healthcare setting preferred Skills/Abilities · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships with team members, candidates, university staff, and hiring managers · Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a population of diverse educational, cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds · Excellent organizational and time management skills · Ability to prioritize, multi-task and respond to requests in a timely fashion · Quick learner, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment where deadlines have to be met · Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of recruiting and candidate management · Able to work effectively amid urgent requests and interruptions, and handle frequently changing and/or unscheduled tasks with accuracy · High level professional accountability · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing · Proficient in Microsoft Office · Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems a plus · Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods also a plus · Ability to problem solve and is innovative in creating solutions · Ability to handle stressful situations Communities We Serve Located in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack mountains, Glens Falls is conveniently located a short drive away from the capital region and Lake George. Salary Range The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $51,521.60 to $77,292.80 annually. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
