We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in our finance team 8. You will directly report to the Manager of Finance and have an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while working on cutting-edge projects in the dynamic aerospace industry.

Safran Helicopter Engines USA is an industrial site in charge of production and MRO of helicopter engines. We employ over 380 employees.

Your main key responsibilities will be :

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Participate in and support the monthly closing process, with a focus on invoicing and revenue topics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Contribute to the development of budgets, 5-year plans, weekly forecasts, and insightful reporting, providing valuable financial insights.

• Analyze and update Margin at Term contracts and renewed cost per hour contracts margins, ensuring precision and timely execution.

• Prepare, review, analyze, and present Margin at Term and contract performance reviews to executive leadership and Corporate, facilitating informed decision-making.

Reconciliations and Variance Analysis

• Maintain monthly reconciliations of IFRS revenue accounts and other accounts as needed, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

• Produce comprehensive margin analysis and margin by segment analysis reports, providing valuable insights for strategic planning.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations and analysis on manufacturing variances, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with various departments and the finance team with the corporate French team, fostering effective communication and knowledge sharing.

• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Who are we looking for ?

• You should have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. And 2 to 5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.

• From your previous experiences, you had demonstrated a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for details. You are recognized for your excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with enabling effective collaboration across teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with financial software/ERP systems. Experience with Power BI preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
