About the Role : Senior Data Analyst – IT Asset Management

The Team : The IT Asset Management Team is part of the Product Enablement, Assurance and Resiliency function within Digital Technology Solutions (DTS). This group is responsible for IT Asset Management and Data Driven Decision Making. The Reporting Analyst will support the IT Asset Management life cycle with specialized reporting; and develop new repositories, dashboards, and reports to support DTS decision making.

Responsibilities and Impact :

  • Partnering with colleagues across Digital Solutions, Business Divisions and Corporate Functions to understand business problems; and design repositories, dashboards and reports to help drive decision making.

  • Creating repositories, Dashboards, reports, and Data Visualization

  • IT Data analysis and exploration, Asset Data cleaning and preparation, Database searches and assemble data sets, Create data workflow processes.

  • Apply statistical techniques to produce meaningful tables and graphs using appropriate software. Prepare tables and figures from data analysis.

  • Perform routine and general data management.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications :

  • University degree in business, technology or engineering with a minimum of 10 years work experience in Infrastructure Technology; ideally including Data Analysis and ITAM within an enterprise platform, such as ServiceNow. Must have at least 3 years’ experience developing repositories, dashboards & reports using Power BI/Power Automate/Tableau.

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills (in English). Experience partnering with diverse groups of stakeholders on complex assignments.

  • Ability to write basic SQL statements. Experience working with extremely large data sets; analyzing data and producing effective reports and dashboards.

  • Experience with problem definition, researching data sources, evaluating data quality, and structuring solutions to solve unstructured problems. Strong Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Requirements documentation skills and experience

  • Ability to follow structured development processes including SAFe Agile methodology. To manage the deployment of analytics solutions into production and maintain them. Experience with software testing & data validation

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • Good knowledge of business operations at a large global financial or technology organization.

  • Master’s degree in business, technology, or engineering

  • Good knowledge of IT Asset Management and Infrastructure Data

  • Good Knowledge of MS SQL Server and MS SQL

  • Dremio experience preferred. Demonstrated competence in using PivotTables and Pivot Charts for data summarization and visualization.

  • Maintain reports on targeted software assets, including purchases, license details, and usage.

  • Tracking software and hardware assets

  • Resolving compliance

  • Maintaining the procedures

  • Monitoring life cycles

  • Evaluating IT costs
